Marianne Williamson Endorses
State Senator Ted Lieu for Congress
August 19, 2014 - Former CD 33 candidate and author Marianne Williamson has endorsed State Senator Ted Lieu for the seat currently held by Rep. Henry Waxman, who also supports Lieu. Williamson originally announced her support of the State Senator from Torrance in a statement sent exclusively to the blog DownwithTyranny!.
“I hope those who believe as I do that Ted Lieu represents a vision of America in keeping with our highest yearnings for our nation's future, will enthusiastically support his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives, CA District 33. He has earned our trust and now he needs our support. Let's give him both.” said Williamson.

State Senator Ted Lieu's district comprises more than 80 percent of the voters in CD 33. Lieu is a long-time resident of the district, an Air Force veteran and has served time on the Torrance City Council, State Assembly and State Senate.
