Riverside Sheriffs’ Association Endorses Ted Lieu for Attorney General
(Riverside, CA) - Assemblymember Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) has landed a major law enforcement endorsement for his campaign for Attorney General today with the backing of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association (RSA). To date, RSA is one of the largest local public safety organizations to endorse in the race for California’s next Attorney General
“As a prosecutor and public safety leader, Ted Lieu has always ensured public safety officials like me have the tools we need to keep our communities safe,” said Pat McNamara, President of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association. “I cannot imagine anyone better to be our state's top cop."
RSA is one of the largest local public safety associations in the state. They patrol the fourth largest county in California in both size and population.
"I admire Ted's consistent leadership in public safety reform," said Pat McNamara, President of the Riverside Sheriffs' Association. “I know that he will bring determined leadership to the office of Attorney General and continue to keep our families and communities safe."
RSA joins a growing list of law enforcement support for Lieu's campaign for Attorney General, including Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, the Los Angeles Airport Peace Officers, and the Law Enforcement Association of Asian Pacifics.
